FREE SSPC Training/Certification Courses for
DoD, Army, Air force and Navy Personnel
Government personnel can still take advantage of DoD Funding for coatings training courses offered by SSPC.
Originally announced by SSPC in July of 2008, SSPC reminded members and DoD-related personnel recently that the pool of funds authorized by the US Department of Defense for coatings training courses is still available for interested government personnel.
The funding is provided under a $1 million contract between NACE International and the DoD. SSPC has been subcontracted by NACE to provide the coatings training.
Under the contract, government personnel can register for approved SSPC coatings training courses and have the cost for the course completely covered by the funding.
This latest contract was enacted on July 23, 2008 and runs through June 2010.
